Beginning therapy, whether you are going for the first time, or are restarting a process can feel difficult and even lonely. There is a never a "bad" time to take that first step, and finding the right therapist can help you make that long lasting change that you deserve. By building a relationship centered on safety, authenticity, and collaboration, I help to foster an environment where you can begin to explore, heal, and grow.
My approach to psychotherapy is focused on finding a treatment that is tailored to your needs and not "one-size fits all." Together, we explore your history and present dynamics, in order to gain useful insights about the root cause of any struggle you may be facing. We then develop skills that can help you to make daily changes in your life and identify methods to prevent you from falling into similar patterns in the future. By combining multiple theories and techniques, I offer you an integrative approach drawn from my extensive training. I specialize in relationships, couples counseling; grief and loss; interpersonal struggles; adjustment difficulties, depression and anxiety; self-esteem and identity concerns; early childhood traumas; parenting skills and concerns and substance abuse. I have trained in a wide array of settings which include private practices, hospitals, daycare shelters, counseling centers, and clinics. My mission is to provide you with the highest quality care centered around your needs.
I offer therapy in two convenient locations, Soho and Brooklyn Heights. Video therapy is offered on an individual and treatment appropriate basis.
I look forward to beginning with you.
